FREE Tide Laundry Service for Frontline, Healthcare, Essential workers & their relatives

Tide is one of the brands giving back to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a token of their gratefulness to first responders during this crisis, Tide has announced that they will be offering FREE Tide Laundry Service to Healthcare staff members, retail and essential workers, delivery workers, sanitation agents, policemen officers, firefighters, medical researchers, and ALSO their immediate relatives.

So, that’s one less thing these heroes putting their lives on the line to save the rest of us can worry about.

The FREE Tide Laundry Service includes free laundry and dry cleaning to the limit of four (13 gallons) bags, per household, per week.

How to benefit from FREE Tide Laundry Service during the COVID-19 outbreak?

To benefit from this great value and much-appreciated freebie, you can take your laundry to Tide Cleaners store and locker locations near you through May 9, 2020 (the period will be evaluated by then and will be valid until the pandemic is over).

To speed the process and help Tide Cleaners serve as many people as possible, you can separate laundry from dry cleaning at home, and put your clothes in a bag, a standard trash bag is also acceptable.

The following garments will not be accepted: COVID-19 exposed clothing (e.g. worn while directly treating patients), leather clothing, wedding dresses, alterations, shoes, and select household items.

Please bear in mind that front line responders and front line responders’ immediate family members should identify themselves. As proven by photo identification from the Front Line Responders’ place of employment (e.g. Police Officer ID not the Police Officer’s driver’s license) or an image (e.g. a picture of the Front Line Responders Photo ID on a phone) of the ID.

The ID piece should be shared through a closed window or a text message image to Guest Services Representative present at participating in Tide Cleaners and Locker Locations. You can also include a copy of your form of identification in the clothing bag as well. 

Tide Cleaners has put in disposal drop boxes for drop-off and Kiosks for pick-up anytime, day or night 24/7.

Some locations do offer a delivery service. But you should check out first.
