How GameStop Trade Anything Day works
Customers can trade in one qualifying item on December 6 in exchange for a $5 store credit.
This is a one-day event and items will be accepted in-store only.
- Each customer is limited to trading in 1 item
- Store credit is $5 per person and has no cash value
- Items must fit inside a 20x20x20 inch box
- This promo is not tied to GameStop’s usual trade-in catalog
GameStop will donate many of the traded items to local charities after the event. It’s a win-win, clear out your clutter and do some good while getting rewarded!
What’s NOT Accepted
Not everything qualifies, so check the exclusions before heading in:
- Hazardous waste or chemicals
- Liquids, lithium-ion batteries, ammo, weapons
- Alcohol, tobacco, drugs (legal or illegal)
- Perishables, dead or live animals
- Counterfeit currency or documents
- Most electronics, including desktops, laptops, tablets, e-readers, smart displays, virtual headsets, and MacBooks
- Computer accessories (monitors, keyboards, mice, hard drives, etc.)
- Soiled or inappropriate clothing, and undergarments
Please note that all items will be reviewed by store staff. Your item may be donated, so make sure it’s clean and safe.
