Coffee Mate Class Action Lawsuit
Nestle faced a Class Action Lawsuit regarding some false claims on the Coffee Mate Powder Creamer products. In fact, the brand was alleging that the Coffee Mate makes a number of servings. But, the products do not always yield the represented number of servings, even when consumers follow the “Serving Size” instructions on the label. So, Nestle is now required to pay 10 Millions Dollars as a settlement. It will be in benefit of any customer who bought a Coffee Mate product between 2017 and 2022.
The Court has ruled that it is not necessary for claimants to have proof of purchase in order to receive compensation. Each household will be able to claim up $5 without any receipts, and those with receipts will be eligible for an up to $40 payout.
