By joining EDF’s December Challenge, you can enjoy savings and take control of your energy usage.
How the Free Electricity Offer Works
- Free Hours on Christmas Day:
Sign up between November 25 and December 1, 2024, and you’ll automatically enjoy 8 free hours of electricity on Christmas Day, December 25, from 8 AM to 4 PM.
- Sunday Saver Challenge:
Shift your electricity usage away from peak weekday hours (4 PM–7 PM) during December. The more you shift, the more free electricity hours you can earn for the following Sunday!
Hit your energy-saving target and you could receive up to 16 free hours on Sundays.
How to Join:
- Visit the Energy Hub in your EDF MyAccount and sign up for the December Challenge.
- Ensure you have a smart meter that provides 30-minute readings (or set it up to do so).

Don’t worry if you miss the November 25–December 1 sign-up window! You can request a reminder for future Sunday Saver challenges.
